2016 Volkswagen Passat Tires

I bought a set of these for a 2016 VW Passat. I thought I was taking a chance on a bit of an unknown and I'm glad I did. These tires handle great in city driving and at speed. No problems so far in the rain, and recently they did surprisingly well in snowy conditions. They have been quiet in highway driving as well. To early to comment on treadwear, but everything else has surpised my expectations. I'll be looking for a new set when the times comes.

This tire is my first time stepping out of the major brands. I've been a Michelin or Continental guy in the past. These tires did not disappoint. The ride, grip on corners, and noise level have all been high level. They have good grip in wet conditions as well. They leave a little to be desired in the snow, but are far from dangerous. The only knock I have on them is that they are not made to be long lasting, but I spent $150 a tire on 70,000 mile continental tires and $65 a tire on these and am on track to get 40,000 plus miles out of these for half the price.

I took a chance on the Atlas Force tires based upon the reviews at the time and the excellent price and I'm really glad I did. They are a great value, have preformed very well. In fact, when they were installed the mechanic asked me about them as he said that they balanced well and all 4 tires balanced true without weights. He said this is a sign that the tires are manufactured very well. The jury is still out on winter driving, but I plan on testing them out for that before I put on winter tires for the season. If you are looking for a tire with great value that is well manufactured the Atlas Force tires are definitely worth a try.
