By model year ‘14, the Passat was elegant and stylish, engineered for lighter weight and more interior room and loaded with a whole package of advanced tech features. The ‘14 Passat was available with a selection of several 4-cyl engines and was capable of 23 mpg city/34 mpg highway; the ‘16 model was offered with R-Line, S, SE and SEL Premium trim levels.
